Ford I think your assumptions and premise are way off... you're attempting to apply woke cancel culture and identity politics in a place where it doesn't exist. You may want to do a little reflection on this matter.

Conservatives don't care if one is gay or not... if that aspect is the primary reason someone gets a job then by all means they don't deserve the job. If the "gay guy" is a highly qualified financial professional it doesn't matter... if he's a former employee of Soros' outfit and was successful it doesn't matter to conservatives. He actually holds the skills and experience to do the job... that's what truly matters.

Many of the cabinet picks are decent choices... some may not be the typical Washington establishment types and some are... but I don't see that as a big concern. The bureaucracy within the government system will keep a lot of nonsense in check.
