Bernie's wife Jane inherited a house and some property from a dead relative in her family. She and Bernie sold that property and used the money to buy a vacation home. No payoffs. No bribes. No secret deals with the Rothchilds or the Lizard People.

Bernie's like 82 or 83 now, and he just won another term to the Senate. He'll be pushing 90 when that term ends, assuming his health holds up . But I doubt he would run again at that point.

That means he's run out of proverbial fucks to give, since re-election is no longer a factor, and aside from doing his direct job for the people of Vermont, he's probably going to focus the rest of his time building this movement he's talking about. I just hope he lives long enough to see it.
