I believe in fighting wars intelligently. Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld have broken every rule layed down by Sun Tzu in the book "Art of War".

Wars are dangerouse times for countries because they can kill the nations young people, drain the treasury, and even ruin the whole country. The stakes are high and runiing poor strategy only makes things worse. Bush, Chenney, and Rumsfeld are nothing more than war profiteers in my book. The oil industry is making record profits as we speak, Haliburton and the military industrial complex are not hurting either. Who's hurting is the tax payer who will have to pay for all this spending and the consumer who pays the utility bills and gas pump prices.

Putting aside the current clusterfuck that is going on in Iraq, what kind of America would we live in if our past generations had never went to war in persuit of peace?

The spoils that have spoiled us did not come without the spilling of mass blood, so i have a hard time with the idea that people think that peace can be won without war.
History tends to prove this point and i ask the questions, "If not Iraq, where? and if not now, when?

After all our enemies have come together and are able to land a devastating blow?
    I think not.
I have news for everyone, terror was an issue long before Iraq and it will be an issue long after Iraq. but will we be in front of the 8 ball or behind it?
If anything good has come from this it is the tactical fact that we have eliminated any chance of being surprised by another attack on our own soil.

As long as we keep all our enemies on the run and on the defense, we will have a chance at winning the war on terror, whoever the enemy ends up being in the end.

We are Americans, and we will be victorious when all the smoke clears...or we'll die trying when the war bleeds into our streets someday possibly very soon.

We were attacked on Sept. 11 by Islamic terrorists from Saudi Arabia so we go and invade a country where not one terrorist on Sept. 11 came from. Go figure.

I'm not against fighting our enemies who attack us but I'm against invading countries for their oil and using a terrorist attack as an excuse.

"The Ministry of Truth -- Minitrue, in Newspeak -- was startlingly different from any other object in sight. It was an enormous pyramidal structure of glittering white concrete, soaring up, terrace after terrace, 300 metres into the air. From where Winston stood it was just possible to read, picked out on its white face in elegant lettering, the three slogans of the Party:

    WAR IS PEACE
    FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
    IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH " - George Orwell , "1984" (1949)

"I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace." — George W. Bush, Washington, D.C. June 18, 2002
