i really don't have a problem with that.

look at Friends and Seinfeld. some of the stuff they talked about was "edgy" for 8 and 9 PM...but now that the reruns are on at 7 PM or even earlier, it's kind of more risque, especially knowing there may be more unsupervised kids watching it.

i'm a bit biased though. i was watching R rated movies as early as fourth grade. thing is, i knew that most of what i was seeing was inappropriate for my age, and if i mimicked it, i was probably going to get my ass kicked. don't look at it like i had bad parents, look at it as if i was taught right from wrong and knew better than to copy what i saw onscreen.
Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.

100% agreed, I am a firm believer in my freedom of choice, and if that choice is made for me or taken away, I'm not free and we have a BIG problem on our hands from that point on.

If it's free programming it should follow rules. If i'm paying for content, I make the fucking rules, period.

But anything that is considered standard or free, like local channels, should have standards aimed at protecting what kids are exposed to....
I wholeheartedly agree. The funny thing is that while BUSH's phoney cronies pursue their censorship agenda against HOWARD STERN and JANET JACKSON, there is more promiscuous sex and violence being portrayed on TV than ever before...
