What gets me is that this time both repubs and dems had sane voices in their parties vying for the nominee position. For me all of this blindness ties in with scripture where God sends people strong delusion so that the numbnut remains a numbnut still, and so on. The peacemakers are drowned out time and time again by their own. They'd rather bury their heads and pretend that there's no danger. Look at how this thread was derailed right after it began.
