He's a politician. Nothing more, nothing less. He's doing what any politician would do in his shoes. He's doing what McCain would have done if he had won. He's not a reformer, and it's not about change - he's just another fucking politician in an empty suit.

And I'm sure he's a smart guy. But that's irrelevant at this point, isn't it? It's about leadership, integrity, character, and ethics at this point. And if you're looking for any of that in a politician, you're looking in the wrong fucking place.

Obama's an excellent politician and has always been known as seeking the middle ground, be it as president of The Harvard Law Review and showing his willingness to treat the conservative minority fairly or working with Lugar on the "loose nukes" and expanding on the Nunn-Lugar Act.

Basically the dumb sheep cheer for their party like how fanatics cheer for their favorite sports team. Every presidential candidate that has any real chance of winning is marketed like Pepsi, Coke, Miller, or Budwieser. The biggest factor in being number one is advertising and the marketing campaign. Also having the competition screw up helps. Meanwhile, the financial investors play both sides of the game. They have both Coke and Pepsi in their portfolio and this is the main reason nothing changes much even if the rehtoric you get from the new guy is different.

It doesn't help when McCain and the Republicans try to pull more to the centerline against the Democratic FAR LEFT in saying things pro-NAFTA, pro-Illegal Alien, free healthcare for everybody and raising taxes is okay.

It didn't help the Republican party get my vote, in pandering to the Female vote by propping up a Woman vice-candidate.

I found it equally foolish to elect a Token Black as new head of the Republican National Committe, as if to say "look we're gonna open the club now to blacks." If they wanted to, really really wanted to, they'd have started grooming black representatives 3 fucking decades ago like they ought have done!

Fuck the RNCDNC party. Vote independant-anything. They'll still win, but this time I wanna see them squeek by the electorate college so we can show that as the sham that it is! Cuz that's a major part of the election problem, too right there.
