Oops...I axsked a question jhale already axsked.

However, it wouldn't be to difficult to quickly dispose of his shit. A cardboard cutout of a telecaster, a ruck sack full of stinky, dog-shit stained clothes, and a notebook full of irrational thoughts which he studiously copies onto this site in a failed attempt to appear somewhat 'knowledgeable' about one or two things (like hanging shitrock).

Hmmm.... we could just replace the bullshit post with something mockingly appropriate...

...or then, there's always the literal translation...

Yet it was considered blasphemy if anyone was to do such a thing during the Bush administration....

            That's why...
I don't think anyone can honestly say Bush's appointees were all choir boys and anything to marvel at in several cases. They were what they were... good, bad and dog-assed ugly.

I think the key point is... that administration is over and done with. New leader... new band of characters to man the helm on various things. As with every administration they are subject to scrutiny. One of the best ways to evaluate a top leader's effectiveness... is who he chooses to lead with him. I was concerned with some of the past appointees and am concerned with some of the new ones... I think we all should be...

I have no problem at all with scrutiny, but not in a hypocritical sense... Don't pull the "Do as I say, not as I do" crap....

Well, I could similarly give the argument that once a bank robber has left his target Wells Fargo, his time is over and done with and since the police are handling the investigation, we need to quit focusing on the fact that the thieves stole a few hundred thousand and hold the police responsible for not retrieving it all yet.

You have to give the cops some leg room to work with.

                  Ok, good analogy Bob.

The coppers have had 9 months... It's time to quit trying to convince us "we're not the bad guys that were here before us." We got it.

If you're implying that some investigative activities are warranted for the previous bad guys. That may be... frankly I'm suprised Washington hasn't set up a separate arm or Department of Investigatation of the Previous Administration... seems to be a reoccurring trend. Why not formalize it so the next guys can focus on current business...

My point is... every day/hour/minute focused on the past is wasted time in the present and doesn't do shit for shinola for the future. Let the historians sort it out... Let's get on to the business of the day.

I would very much like to see that happen, and hope it does. However, I do believe that we have bigger fish to fry, at least at this time.

Maybe in eight years...maybe Obama will finally spearhead that, get the previous administration held responsible for it's treason, war crimes, and crimes against humanity; I'd like to see that (along with economic recovery and health care reform) be his legacy.
