    I was looking at some of the numbers last night and I read something like 75% of our gun deaths are gang related. So if we could kill off all the gang members then we'd be down in the 3000 per year range.

    i saw a stat on one of our news sites which had double that figure for the u.s.

    roughly 10x ours per 100,000. the vast % of ours are what the cops refer to as 'sos' violence.
    that means 'shit on shit', or crooks killing each other.
