I think the Palin endorsement will be the kiss of death to the Trump campaign. Not that I think Cruz, Rubio, Bush, or even the governor of my own state are better options.

Yeah, normally I'd tend to agree, but look at all the other goofball things Trump has said and done so far in the campaign cycle: he just keeps rolling on.

Couple more weeks and we'll see if those Iowa & New Hampshire polls actually translate into a majority of republican primary voters actually going out and pulling a lever for Trump.

Deep down, I don't think Trump really cares if he wins the election one way or the other. I really don't. He just gives the media what they want in terms of outrageous comments, then sits back and watches (what one would assume to be highly-educated) television and print pundits lather themselves into a froth time and time again. Were I in his shoes, I'd be simultaneously scratching my head in amazement at how easy it is to dominate the political media cycle while filled with a sneering contempt at these same media people being played like rubes at a never ending "Pay $10 for 5 baseballs to throw at the insult-hurling clown" dunk-tank game.
