Perot was wrong though, they all were - the war on drugs was a complete and utter failure.

Perot made the point about how much a crack baby costs the taxpayer but you ended up still having the crack baby but also paying for millions in jail.

This is the quote that sealed my vote for Perot.

There are guys that couldn't get a job third shift in a Dairy Queen, driving BMW's and Mercedes, selling drugs. These old boys are not going to quit easy.

The only guarantee you have is that the next president will be worse than the one you have just now.

Black Jesus was super supportive of the Hillary character in his speech last night though.

After 1992 they changed the rules so that it wouldn't happen again. Perot wouldn't qualify under the new rules.

The threshhold for participation in the debates is 15% in the polls, last I checked. Gary Johnson was around 13% recently, so he's getting close. Jill Stein was ignored by the corporate whore media up until now, and with many of Bernie's supporters being completely disgusted with the DNC's rigging of the primary season, AND the choice of Kaine, it will be interesting to see how Jill's numbers rise after this week.

Unfortunately, people didn't listen. Including me, sadly.... I drank the party KoolAid that year

    That's a complete fantasy.

The problem with modern media is that we all live in our bubbles. It's a pity we don't have more of the old Republican posters here but there are still some around and this is maybe the only place I even here first hand their views. That may cause some upset when people start shouting at each other but getting exposed to other opinions has to be a good thing.

Over here we have had 2 referendums on Scottish independance and leaving the EU and if you were sitting there looking at my social media then you would think that both would have gone a different way than they did by about 90%. When the people outside their bubble kick ass then it's such a shock to the system it even feels like a conspiracy theory. 'How could that happen, everyone I know thinks differently'.

Older people vote, young people don't. There is a good chance that Trump will win the presidency and you will be left scratching your head thinking how could that happen?

A BI partisan committee decides who is allowed to speak in your presidential debates. It's a wonderful manipulative use of language.

Instinctively it implies some sort of fairness, even handedness and so on when in your system it means the exact opposite.

There is no way they would ever let the Greens or Libertarians into the debates, given that you seem to follow all this stuff I'm amazed you could still be so naive - again it's the bubble...

But I don't think he's going to do it, sadly. For a man in his 70s, he's already put up with far too much bullshit from the people pretending to be in his party. He's decided to step aside and keep advocating for the issues as a senator. I can respect his position, even if I wish he would have fought that cunt when he realized how badly he was robbed.

Has FORD ever picked a candidate that has won, in anything? :D

HillBillary wasn't even going to run, until she came on here and saw FORD was a Bernie supporter.
