Sanders was pretty clear the other night about how he thought people should vote.

It's interesting to think of an alternate reality where a guy who had the exact same views and platform as Sanders but was a young handsome caucasian baptist democrat from a red state, tall and with hair, had got the nomination this year.

You could have had the most liberal president in how long? Doesn't matter a huge amount though because he would never have got any bills through.

Well, we'll never know. We can't even be 100% sure how Sanders would have fared in the general, although it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Trump would have been much harder-pressed to build a campaign based entirely upon character attacks.

Certainly Sanders wouldn't have gotten any of his bills through 100% on his terms, but even if only 25% of what Sanders wanted managed to make it through the legislative process one can surmise even that would be far more progressive than what Hillary would have proposed.
