I have a Motive Power Extractor for the car
and dump the oil back into the Mobil jugs. My friend has a 55 gallon drum at his shop, another shop picks up the full drum and they burn the waste oil.
The Jeeps are all tall enough for me to roll my F A T ass under but that used oil goes in the same drum.
Brake and other fluids get collected twice a year at hazmat collection day. Save your old washer fluid bottles and rinse them well, then transfer oil or whatever into them. I wouldn't trust the lids on the collection pans for transit.Last edited by twonabomber; 12-29-2016, 07:02 PM.Leave a comment:

Fair question. Batteries are the most problematic issue when it comes to electric vehicles. Why don't we take some of the billion dollars wasted on wars for perpetuating 18th century oil technology, and instead spend it on research to solve 21st century problems, like battery disposal, or preventing them from occasionally torching themselves.How are you going to dispose of these batteries? Batteries in general are an environmental nightmare. Hell, they can't even get a little ole cell phone battery to survive long, or keep from blowing up. So, I can imagine a landfill full of dead Tesla batteries will be a great thing!
