Pretty much. There is plenty of anti-Zionist rhetoric blaming Jews for our political and banking problems. I read an article not to long ago that anti-semitism is on the rise in Europe and here in North America. People need a scapegoat and there is plenty of scapegoating going on. It will only get worse as the divide between rich and poor widens and economic conditions for people who used to be middle class worsens. This stuff goes in cycles. It never disappears.No! It just seems so...I dunno. So antiquated to blame the Jews for our political and banking problems.
I do tend to think the conditions for the white working class in America are such where you have a lot of people who aren't gainfully employed, and a lot of middle-aged whites who are looking for scapegoats for where they as a class find themselves these days. There are a lot of reasons for this. Outsourcing manufacturing, while great for corporate bottom lines, hasn't been helpful. People living longer lives while not having the resources to retire until they're basically half-dead is another. To be sure, some of this is due to their own lack of planning, but the income disparity and lack of decent jobs can't be laid entirely on the shoulders of the white working class.
And there are, sadly, plenty of functional nutters out there. Nutters with access to bomb-making materials and firearms.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment

Oh there are a bunch of anti-Jew conspiracy theories. Much along the same lines you heard a century ago. The international Jewish bankers. There is a lot of that. What you have to remember is it’s not across the board. It’s a niche but it’s a sizable niche. The truth is the Jewish lobby does have a lot of influence in the US. Big investment banks like Goldman Sachs are ran by Jews. People mention old money like the Rothschilds all the time. Of course the reality is the Jewish community is a mixed bag. Lot’s of different types and as the joke goes, seven Jews, seven opinions. I think you will see a rise in anti-semitism both in Europe and here in America. They will be scape goat for the same reason they were in the past. Jews are industrious people and tend to end up in powerful positions. People get jealous of them and the bad behavior of some Jews give people an excuse to attack Jews.
