For the most part... no the Supreme Court is not corrupt. The political arena surrounding the court is without a doubt corrupt.

They are meant to be above politics and by deliberately delaying Trump's trial before this years election they have disgraced themselves.

Also by any measure at the very least Clarence Thomas is corrupt.

The evolution of modern law has evolved over many centuries. The complexity of certain cases and the decisions today are really difficult for most non-legal experts to understand. I believe for the most part the justices do a good job and put a respectable effort into their decisions for things brought before the court.

Remember the foundational elements of western law originated back in the Magna Carta era... if today's system has flaws we can blame the UK for all that!!
