Who knows what the situation is. The peanut gallery always gets fed shit. It’s no different than the financial publications telling Joe Blow to buy certain shares and the people selling them were tied in with the publications. The government data was usually fudged shit. Who had the best pulse of what was going on were the investment bankers. They had their own feet on the ground researchers.
