There are a lot of people gaming the system. Putting one on trial and letting others slide is not a good policy.

When I said gaming the system I was talking about his father.

The reason Trump lost this civil case was blatant repeated fraud and then lying about it and then when banged to rights refusing to accept he had done anything wrong. That tends to piss off judges.

Lots of people have been put on trial in NY for the kind of frauds Trump did.
