There's a club in Little Rock called Shooters that some of the bands I'm buddies with play at... they have like a dozen of these guitars tacked onto the walls Hard Rock Cafe style.

I was helping with sound check and set up for The Ryan Couron band about a month ago and asked the owner where he got all those guitars. He bought them in bulk for about $70 a piece new.

Look at it this way..... If it's a Hagar guitar, it's probably never been used.

Or at least not used correctly.

I passed through pawnshop alley in Van Nuys on the way to Guitar Center after work yesterday, and was like "must. keep. going!" I was afraid I would find something cool....

THIS, however, is in the words of Triumph the Insult Comic dog "like pooping on poop".

Yeah, it's basically a notch above kindling, but with a pickup.

I was shocked to hit a pawn shop and find a cheapo Epiphone which was actually playable.

I dunno about that. I've looked at the image several times this morning, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't say "Sammy Hagar" at all. In fact, I think it reads "FAO HOG", whatever in hell that means. And yes, I'm being serious. Look for yourselves...is this a new BBQ restaurant chain?

Yep... with a street price usually around $99.99.

I personally don't like what Sharpies do to the tone on guitars... although in entry level Indonesian POS models it's negligible...

You're right about that... seems (almost) cruel to let him profit off another poor cheesebot hagarita though...

I thought about sending him an email chastising him for even wanting to get an autograph from the klown, and tell him he was delusional if the thought anyone would actually pay for the thing.

Then I figured it was a waste of valuable minutes I could never get back again.

Actually for $150 they're light years better than the $150 dollar Les Paul copy I had in 1980...
