A gem in Fender's Signature Series, a guitar from one of rock's greatest moments. This is a recreation of the Strat used by Hendrix to play the 'Star Spangled Banner" at Woodstock. The original was recently acquired by the Hendrix Museum. Actually this one 'mirrors" the Hendrix axe. Jimi's was a right hander strung left. This is a left hander, strung right. Olympic white finish only. Includes black Tolex case ($159 value).
Designed to capture Hendrix's elusive voodoo sound!
This guitar pays homage to the voodoo master himself. Its completely left-handed string path, combined with the scorching tone of reverse-staggered pickups and a reverse-angle bridge pickup completes the equation needed to capture Hendrix's sound. Combine all that with a right-handed contoured body, tremolo, and controls, and you're there. Right-handed alder body, left-handed neck, Fender® Schaller vintage F-machine heads, and an original synchronized tremolo. Includes black Tolex case ($159 value).
Yep, those were production models a few years back. I have played most of the signature Strats, but not the Hendrix sig. I would love to have one myself.
You guys ever attempted to play one of the Wingnut (Yngwie) Malmsteen models? Christ almighty! The damned scalloped fingerboard really fucked me up.
