    Outstanding show!

Got video of the first three or four songs, but I am afraid the audio may not be all that good. (It was pretty loud where I was sitting)
    Got some pictures too.

    Load them up soon.

    Vannnnnnn Halen, Jack!

    OWWWWWWW!

    wooooooo!

the knuckleboner arrived a little late to the show. just as the opener, unchained, ended. which meant i was that doucebag in the tie. (death beats working, baby...)

but it's not like anybody noticed. that place was PACKED. and despite what this thread may lead one to believe, it was a hot crowd...for DC. way better than '07.

i don't have too much to say about the show. everybody clicked. fast paced. rocked straight up through dave's ice cream man intro for a couple of minutes, exploded back into rock and carried throughout the show. solos were tight. dave in prime form.

full bug and hang 'em high were great to hear live. the new stuff was really good and seemed to get a solid crowd reaction. no beer break songs, that's for sure. blood and fire was a tremendous addition.

this was good time rock from cover to cover. the show is not to be missed.

Lou and I butted heads many times. Hell, I butted heads with pretty much everyone at one time or another. ;D

I've noticed the majority of us have mellowed somewhat. I wonder if it's because we're mellowing with age, or if it's the reduced angst because Dave is back where he belongs?

Either way, I miss Lou, even though our internet personas hated each other. That's family for ya...

Yes thanks for concern-- she had developed a medical condition that she hopefully outgrows but it took a while to figure out. So now, things are back to normal Back then I missed the North Jersey show I had tickets for because of that...

..Wound up seeing them in AC and Vegas instead.
