Wow. Came online to try to remember a user name, and saw this. Sun was one of the kindest people I ever encountered on this board...such a gentle soul who lifted my spirit on more than one occasion.

See ya on the other side, my friend. And thank you for wrapping your arms around me in protection when I needed it. Your kindness during some very dark periods will never be forgotten. It's true, only the good die young.

Yeah...just heard that two HS classmates passed this week, one from cancer, and the other of "natural causes" in his sleep.

I share the sentiment... Sadly our generation/age group has entered the early end of the average lifespan zone. Within that range the folks at the front of the line are passing. It'll only get worse over the next 15-20 years. The cycle of life continues... enjoy it while you can!!

Unreal. One of the first guys I conversed with here. He was both offbeat and down to Earth. I wish him peace, wherever he is at this moment in the universe.

Well.. .so much for 2018 going better than the last couple of years. I've had blood pressure issues in the past myself, so I know how that goes. Been worried about it again for the last year or so, due to a number of factors. Some medical slogan writers called it "the silent killer", but I don't think that's true at all. You know when your blood's "boiling". Just have to find a way to control it, be it through medication, dietary changes, getting your stress levels down or a combination of all the above. And of course, some folks have the genetic factor against them on top of all that.

Sad that Sunisinus couldn't find the solution in time. Hopefully some good can come of this if it inspires some of us old farts to take the hint and get your own BP under control.
