You got 86'd from Cooperstown? Why, did you ask Alice to play "School's Out" one too many times?

I was shitfaced after a Coyotes game. 100% shitfaced. I'd like to make it clear that I did not indulge in any spam-flavered libations. Nor did I smash any guitars...

I sure hope not, because we'd have to round up the troops and kick your ass!

I don't know why anyone is suprised buy this. This type of thing is par for the course for this band. More of the same in the soap opera that is Van Halen. Dave has been out of the loop and is all the better for it. Proof is in the pudding. You still wont catch me cheering for ANYONES demise.

I don't think any of us will. I think it's going to be a real sad day both here and at the Links when they find Ed one some fateful morning.

I just hope some kind of divine intervention steps in, because I think it's to the point where ONLY divine intervention is going to save this sad state of affairs from spiraling downwards.

Nobody here was cheering for Eddie to bite it, Fab! BB, I agree with ya 100%; it will take a miracle, because he's not going to do it for himself. Hell, he wouldn't even get his shit together for his FAMILY for chrissakes!

Until he dries out, Val should keep Wolfie far away from his self-destructive behavior. The kid doesn't need to see his Pops slinking into the gutter.

Exactly. I had thought that maybe if Ed hit absolutely rock bottom, he might dry up and straighten out, but with the cancer, the hip, the poor sales, essentially losing Val and Wolf, the Best of Vol. 2 failure, the dismal failure of the tour, the lack of any radio interest in the new material, losing the deal with Peavey, etc etc, I'd say he's hit rock bottom and all it's done is drive him deeper into the bottle.

Are you there, God? It's me, Bueno Bob...

Sweetie, most of you are friggen pissing in your cheerios over this shit! Loving every minute of it! I aint mad at ya! I know where your loyalty is and thats cool. Ya know your my BUSH baby! It's just that to me, it's sad that this man, the musical powerhouse CHOOSES to fuck up his life, the life of his family and continues to destroy relationships and business deals because alcohol rules his world. For me it isn't about Roth one upping Ed, it's about a man falling apart. SAD.
