I don't know about that, but something weird is going on with the keyboard part on "Tattoo". It sounds like a sloppy overdub, nearly as bad as the bass parts on that Sex Pistols album they recorded at the prison, and then a bass part NOT played by Glenn Matlock was added 20 years after the fact.

On the other hand, maybe I should be thankful that my ears can still pick up on shit like this at my old age.

It's because ex-Hagar (and Montrose) keyboard player Alan Fitzgerald (look at the liner notes, keyboard 'tech') was behind the amps playing keys/synth or running tapes of those parts.

Back on topic is it only on the iTunes version that there is a production error on 'Woman In Love'?

At 2:29 a few bars into the solo suddenly they hike up the bass.
