I haven’t bought any of Wolfgang’s albums nor have I been to any of his solo shows so I don’t know how I am supporting him. I already told you I don’t care what he says. Where did I defend him? I said he could lose a couple of pounds.

I like live albums and videos but I hardly ever watch or listen to them. I’ve seen ‘em live, so I’m content.

There’s no SMiLE in 5150, so I’m fine with what we got.

Yes, I don't like Sammy Hagar. But at least Sammy Hagar made the first Montrose album. Van Hagar is a joke...but I would still take certain songs like HUMANS BEING or BLACK 'N' BLUE over anything Valerie Jr. has done. I remember hearing HUMANS BEING on the radio in the car with my friends. And I remember thinking that the lyrics are stupid (some shit about "enough Christ in me") but at least the chorus was in my head after the song was done. I have NOT heard a single Valerie Jr. song that I remember afterwards. ZERO hooks. Not one.

If I had a gun to my head and someone told me to HUM the melody of a Valerie Jr. song, I would not be able to and would have to say, "I guess you're going to have to shoot me." Not one single melody can I remember.

Van Hagar tarnished Van Halen's legacy...but at least there was still good guitar-playing in it. Valerie Jr.'s music is not exactly getting the guitar magazines to interview him and ask, "How did you play that song I SUCK COCK AND I'M REALLY FAT?"

The sad part of the story seems to be true...they did only film the three songs in Oakland.

But they recorded the whole fucking show.

If they released that as a double-CD, triple-LP live album, that would be one of the best Van Halen albums ever released...maybe ever-released.

But I bet you we won't hear it because Valerie Jr., Valerie's brother & Valerie want to make sure that the world waits with baited breath for the next album of pure shit that pays Valerie Jr.'s ever-growing grocery bills.

When STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN came on, she walked over and sat on my lap on the floor, staring up at the big screen, gazing at this great band. Her eyes were wide. When the solo kicked in, she started dancing around the room. When the movie was over, she looked at me and said, "Thank you. That was SO awesome. Can we watch that movie again soon?

THAT is one of the big reasons I want a high-quality VH show released. I want to SHOW her why Van Halen with Dave was as special as Zeppelin and some of the other bands she loves.
