    I think everyone's stopped listening...

Post by: Mr Walker on February 03, 2006, 11:47:58 AM
I listened to it for a few minutes on the ride in and thought it was funny that the topic they were discussing was 'rudeness'

Post by: Lesfunk on February 03, 2006, 11:53:50 AM
Dave should be an expert on that.

    Post by: Rjohn10538 on February 03, 2006, 11:55:10 AM
I turned it on to hear him talking about comics and satire.

I quickly changed the channel to sports radio.

This is the third Friday in a row where he's spent the last hour of the show discussing the war in Iraq. Why go into the weekend on this note? What the hell is he up to?

Post by: Hellraiser! on February 03, 2006, 12:16:04 PM
    I didn´t stop listening......but I can´t listen the show live!!!

    Jesus...

    I'll be skipping that.

I hope Dave wants to put a huge hole in the Earth where the middle East used to be!

    Fuck those savages!

I'm DL'g the shows and I usually listen a day or two later, so I'll probably post in here this weekend.

That's not very nice. DGT's observations are articulate and informative, they also make people think. He's one of the few that actually bring something to the table.

    Like you used to?

I'm fucking with DGT, dude. I'm counting on the fact that HE can take a harmless joke.

Dude, I didn't do much of anything around here. I moved a few irrelevant threads, start a few listening threads, and went off on Lou about how much of a cunt I thought he was.

I was more worthless around here than LUTS!!

Wing Bowl, or the syndicated Tony Bruno show?

Wing Bowl. I'm driving in before Tony. It is the First Team on Fox with Steve Czaban and Scott Linn. They are not bad.

I do listen to Jody Mac more than Eskin now in the afternoon. Or 660, the Fan.

I humbly apologize if I ever made someone think. I know that can be very painful and a real downer while trolling the internet in hopes of coming upon a discussion of Dave's closet or how many times Lou told us he can't stand the fuckin' radio show.

Post by: Seshmeister on February 03, 2006, 10:29:16 PM
One of the weaker shows today I thought. At least Dave had a bit of a go at the lying cunt claiming to be a psychic. I would have liked to have heard Penn have a go at her.

Post by: damngoodtimes on February 04, 2006, 02:51:27 PM
Okay, I know everyone's been waiting with bated breath until I got around to listening.

First hour was an interesting discussion on the VA and our wounded troops. Dave was certainly coming from a single point of view with his convictions. I find that Dave certainly shows some balance in his views overall in that he is very adamant in his criticism of the troop treatment, while he has already been clear in his support of the policy that has them over there in the first place.

I don't have a problem with that, but it tends to be a rarer combination of viewpoints.

I'm just hoping when I listen to it, he doesn't talk about Paris Hilton yet again :lou

He's spent at least a couple hours this week talking about her--I'd rather hear his views on Iraq!

And I cunt help but wonder how much it's killing FORD to hear Dave articulate why we should be over in Iraq!! Has FORD since embraced Hagar? :D

Czaban is pretty damn funny. He does about 20 minutes on a local show here everyday. Been doing it for about 10 years now.
