Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.
You can view more of the guy's (much, much better) creations here: St Sanders.com. The Queen, Kiss, Stones, Maiden and Yngwie ones are nothing short of brilliant.
The dude is the best. His interpretations are classic due to the fact that he pays a great deal to details and his recordings are well done (sonically).
It kills me how he comes up with his lyrics.
The key to "getting" what he does is to familiarize yourself with the lyric captions, forget they're there, and watch the video.

Exactly! Many of the guys imitators just throw on a video, then play really badly in a garage somewhere. They not only completely miss the point, they avoid the nuances and subtlety the guy uses, the extra attention to detail at times that makes you laugh your ass off when you notice it. Like in the Yngwie clip, where he plays the themes from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars. Simply astounding work.
