It's not all that bad, really. Especially when you compare it to the horrendous versions you'll be seeing in the next few months.
It's not 'impressive', but it's a helluva lot better than what I was expecting.

True enough, and if these guys play out and happen to perform the tune in their set, it certainly wouldn't be a negative thing.

The guy sings it better than Hagar would, that much is certain.

Hagar would refuse to sing it, drag someone out of the audience to fill in, or change the words to something cruder, like that old "Got my ass against the record machine" deal. Cherone on the other hand, would make at least make an attempt, but he'd be prancing around the stage or bending over in an embarrassing fashion while doing so.

What is typically missing from Van Halen covers is one thing that pops out very much to me: stage presence.

You can tell the guitarist is the leader of that band. But holy shit does he have an identity crisis going on. Playing Eddie Van Halen dressed like Joe Satriani in a band that sounds like the Fabulous ThunderBirds.

Thumbs up on the cover tune anyways tho. Pretty quick work to get it to sound that decent.

Sounds pretty good actually! Band's tight and did a respectable job.

The guy on keys reminds me of the explosives guy in Tropic Thunder. "Mother nature just pissed her pants suit!!" What was with the Yngwie meets Santana solo? All in all, a solid cover band effort.
