Sharing an IP doesn't neccserily mean the posts are made from the same place. In small home networks, NAT functions are usually performed by an residential gateway device, typically one marketed as a "router". In this scenario, the computers connected to the router would have 'private' IP addresses and the router would have a 'public' address to communicate with the Internet. This type of router allows several computers to share one public IP address.

All the sharing of an IP address means is that were likely to be with the same interweb company.

After Panamark stated we both had the same IP...I PMd him and asked him if he was shitting me for general annoyance...and somewhere amongst the PMs said something to the effect of what I just posted.

In fact, I think it was me who assumed Katie was Tracie Lamb.

I wouldn't fuck around with people to the extent that Katie did (does?)...I certainly wouldn't go as far as to create several aliases to steal the identity of around half the regular members of the site like Katie did.

Of course....the only way for me to prove that I am not Kate is face to face....and that is almost as gay an idea as when Ed said "I know...let's ask Sammy Hagar to join the band".

It's not impossible...all I know is I am NOT Katie nor have I ever functioned as her.

The exact thing Panamark said to me just after he told me about this IP thing was
