    Tag Rubbish

    How can I turn off the stoopid tag bullshit so I do not have these tag errors pop up saying stupid crap like "hey man you have too many tags...."

    I did not put any tags on my posts to begin with, and I do not like the site software trying to automatically add them for me.

    Problem is I can find no way to turn this laughably stupid 'feature' off in my user settings.

    If there is nothing I can do about it, then I will just have to remain irritated every time the board freaks out over something IT does and then tries to get ME to fix IT's fuckup for it!

      I deleted the tags it generated entirely when I got that message, now it doesn't prompt me again.
      I'm using Firefox.. (Hope that helps). Unless I was drunk again and just dreamed that the
      problem went away ? I also have my browser set to always remember me here... (That might
      help if its a cookie type deal)

          Just added a new thread to make sure I wasn't tripping,
          it still adds tags, but doesn't nag you.

          The first time it nags you just highlight all the tags and delete, then
          submit.... Worked for me.

                      Thanks Mark. I was already just deleting the tags before submitting. This is all just part of the upgrade process...weeding out any bugs.

                              Still getting tag bullshit.

                              My usual definition of an "upgrade" is that it should make stuff more efficient. Now every time I post I have to erase the tags, instead of simply hitting the submit button.

                              Oh well. That is the 'reality definition' of the word 'upgrade'.....it actually is a downgrade.
