Everything I've mentioned in this thread is "band-aid solutions" for the end-users, of course. Obviously Sarge is going to have to look at the code and see where this shit is originating from to solve the real problem, but in the mean time, running Firefox with the appropriate plugins is the best way of avoiding the headaches.
