That is an ugly guitar, I wouldn't buy one for $50.00 much less $1300.

I noticed these coming out again, 2001 and its great!

I had the 6 original templates for this guitar, sold one of 'em on Ebay back in 2000 but I recall sending it to the Midwest somewhere, not up to NorCal.. hmm..

If Wayne is redoing the Megazone, he ought to do the other 2 as well: the Hydra and the Shrivelle because they're cool EVH-era 70s guitars.

I WOULD like some more meat on that headstock, though. Fuck Fender! Put a big ball on the end of that stick, I say! Just do it a different way is all I would think.. to avoid legal issues.

That is one really ugly guitar, even if sounds good and plays like a dream. It has to have something so you don't think "why the fuck do I own this", and that doesn't have that thing.

I guess they're like Flying V's, either you like them or you don't.

It balances real well in the lap like a V, but you can't play the V sitting on the floor or the bed like this. The cutaway arm provides additional support.

So Wayne is calling this thing a "hydra" - I guess if and when he redoes the Hydra he'll call THAT the "Megazone"

I don't want to get all negative, but that guitar looks kinda spamish. Cool, but I could definitely see spamual playing it on one of his yellow days.
