Yes, but most human beings that think of themselves as prolife (or prochoice for that matter) are callously indifferent to the suffering of their fellow man. The fundamental question here is how can any man claim to speak for the will of God when that man selectively rationalizes the breaking of the Ten Commandments. By the way, the statement is rhetorical and not directed personally at anyone.

I believe he was referring to Junior, who has broken at least 9 of them.

The rule now is that to be a good christian you need to keep your killing to less than 250 000?

The one thing that pisses me off about the Religious Right: the fuckin' Baptists. They're the Taliban of Western Religion. Do you realize that the Sunday blue laws in the South are so bad you can't even buy a six pack of NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER?!? Georgia has a referendum on the ballot to get rid of that shit. I'm talking Old Mil N/A here. Man, I miss Virginia more and more every day.

How is killing 100,000 people "too few?" Are you advocating firing up gas chambers for our enemies and rationalizing their slaughter by a senseless camparison to the numbers killed by a tin-pot dictator?

By the way, we really didn't have a problem with Saddam and the people he killed until he sent his tanks on our Kuwaiti turf.

And many of the people Saddam killed killed were waiting for Bush Senior to send troops to help them after his call for them to overthrow Saddam in 1991.

I was referring to Junior and those other Republicans that could give a shit about abortion and only use the issue to pander to the religious right.

And I've heard the God is on our side rhetoric before. It sounds a little empty in the perspective of the events from 1914 to present. It seemed a little too convientient for otherwise God fearing people to so easily dispose of the "Thou shalt not kill."
