These latest rumours are very disturbing indeed. Van Halen reforming with one of the replacement singers ? Even worse, the replacement singer they are chosing is Spammy ? Whats the go ? Spammy has dinner with Alex, Spammy apparently blows Alex so well that they decide to call Ed, Spammy posts details at his redsite (sic), weeks pass, Spammy says no reunion on the horizon. Is this all some sick joke perpetrated on the poor suffering fans of the once mighty Van Halen ? Is Alex avoiding Dave at any cost, is Eddie swimming in daily obliteration ? Maybe Al wants Dave to know that he is talking to Spammy, (In a move to soften Dave up) ? What the fuck is going on ?

Personally I think those deceiving fuckers are trying to fuck Dave over, and probably Spammy at the same time. Surely Ed and Al are not part of this Spammy/Mikey Gay Love fest we have witnessed over the last year ? The biggest curveball is Dave dropping the Lawsuit, right before we hear about this ? Whats going on there ??

I'm surprised nobody else has seen a pattern developing here. For BOV1, they bring Dave back "just for a couple songs", but the rumor starts running wild that Dave's back. They went so far as to have the whole MTV Awards deal, before they announced that Gary was the new guy. Now Gary's out, and we're looking at doing BOV2, and we're hearing the same thing, the "We're just having Sammy do a couple new songs for the best of album." and again, speculation runs rampant about Sammy being back in. Personally, I would not be at all surprised to see the same thing happen to Sam that happened to Dave on BOV1.

Sammy being the logical choice at this time while David cannot endure the vocal range live or as he once had in the studio.
I understand Dave is performing live around the club and small casino circuit which is great, more power to him.
Although Sammy's worth ethic was unpleasant near the end of his Van Halen tenure, he thrives to make the best possible Van Halen record to date.
