My Roth Army Dream...

I had a dream last night. Every summer, the last weekend in July, the city I live in has a huge free festival. We get some pretty decent acts up there every year. Some recent people who have headlined it are, Paul Rodgers...Eddie Money...Kenny Chesney...America....KC and the Sunshine band. Hows Paul doing these days BTW?.....Anyway, I had a dream that David Lee Roth played this year and some of you that I have met and/or seen pics of were there with me! Dave and the boys were on stage doing Unchained...I had Fab on my shoulders...Northern Girl was on Guwapo's...Sensible Shoes was there...Chelle too...and Scorpio Boy with the mohawk blazin! Of course we were all front row for the whole show...and when it ended, we were invited onto the bands bus! We had a few drinks with Dave and the band, took some pics...and then I heard....Dad, my throat is sore...my son woke me up.

Aside for Fab and Ng...when the day comes and we should meet, if either of you is wearing a red silk tank top and white shorts,TROUBLE! That much I can surely say!

Anyway, crazy dream...but I thought I'd share.

Now, here is the good part. I am good friends with many of the people who sit on this festivals planning board! My sons Godfather is one of the Directors! So, I am gonna find out what there budget is for there headline act. Remember, this is ALL FREE...there are no tickets. You just show up at the park...pic your plot of grass and make a night of it! I recall reading here some time ago that in order to get Dave to play a show, it runs between 75 and 100 G's. I think the most they ever paid was 60 to Paul Rodgers, but I'm asking my friend Matt! Who knows, my "dream" could come true....Ladies....hit the mall! Red silk....white shorts! LOL!

For those of you that live near Oswego, NY....it's called Harborfest. The way that they make it free, corporate donations...a peice of the food profits etc. This thing takes place in 6 city parks and usually draws about 4- 500,000 people! Most of which come in on Saturday for the Grucci Bros fireworks...which are AMAZING!

Second---Regarding Fab...I think she is friggin gorgeous! Period! If I ever got a hold of her, I'd turn the headboard into sawdust!

Third- Guwapo is my Bud too. We met at the Rama show and he has hooked me up with a few items for which I will always be grateful!

I had a goofy dream...thats it...do the wars need to go in EVERY thread!

No committment yet, Jimmy Buffet is one they are working on....The Steve Miller Band is another....He will bring up the idea of DLR at the next planning meeting. Although 75 -100 g's is steep for their budget...Rodgers got the most ever...60 thou.
