The supermodel was someone that Dave speaks about in his Book and he had taken her to New Guinea with him on vacation. He said he ended up quitting the relationship because she gave him the ultimatum to get married or else she would need to go back to NYC to work. He told her he wasn't ready for marriage.
Rolling Stone Magazine came out with an article called "Supermodels and their Love Affairs" and since she was carrying a grudge for him not being ready for setting up "House w/Kids", she told the magazine about their affair and apparently was not too kind to DLR in it.
