I was wrong about you, brother. You're good.
Don't despair,
just because it's Christmas.
Children, they're
all so gay at Christmas.
All the children on the street
hope they get something good to eat.
But for me it's not so great.
Fuck Christmas! [x10]

That was a song by Fear. You can find it on their album "The Record."
I recognized it right away.
They are my fave punk band.
They played here in Gnashville 2wice since 2001. Seen 'em both times. Talked to Lee Ving about the first time I ever even heard of them.
It was the infamous performance on Saturday Night Live in 1981.
I just so happened to be tripping on acid that night.

Here is a poor photo of Lee Ving jamming with Flea on the Vans Warped Tour 2001
The fearband.com site says new tour....hope they come back through here again....
"All the music was a yawner until Fear took the stage and announced they were there for REAL! We then proceeded to have us clear the ramp and go out into the pit and grab a couple pics and such. They ruled! Even Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined them for a song on bass."
And here is a cool review of a show they did in Vegas in 2004:
