An American Haunting

Based on true events that took place in Tennessee during the 1800s, where an unrelenting demon haunts and torments a teenage girl and her wealthy family. It is based on the alleged only documented true case in U.S. history of a spirit causing a person's death.

Just watched the trailer and this looks pretty good. Great cast in place to boot. Anyone else know any more about this. It will be in theaters in early MAY.

It looks cool . The state of west virginia has become the place for spook movies with mothman , wrong turn , and now salient hill but thay have never touched on the real stuff . In the town i lived in years back there was a row of houses and everyone of them had spooks . Thay were about 100 years old and everyone was killed in the homes like 100 years ago like 25 or 30 people in all . My friend was renting one of them and that place was so messed up lites would come on and off doors would open and close when you walked in the place the hair on your neck would rise up . Thay said one man thought his wife was cheating on hem and he didn't know with who so he killed everyone and them his self .

That looks like it is gonna be good!

I watched a somewhat decent flick just last night called Half Light with Demi Moore in it. Thriller/suspense type of movie. I like Horror movies. I saw but 30 minutes of Hostel and shut it off. It was like a porn/gore movie. Too much for me to watch.

Sagebrush the stuff going on in your town would make a great flick.

Wow.. I went to school not too far from where they filmed wrong turn. Bluefield VA/WVA to be exact.. Sounds CREEPY.. I love a good scare and local folklure is always interesting....

The town i live in now has its own evil landmarks lol . the devils den and the devils tea table . Its said the devil made a deal with a man that he would have lots of $ for his soul and he made the deal at '' you know it '' the devils den and he was found dead on the devils tea table .

There's so many locations that start with 'devil's' in WV it's funny...one of our local hangs was called "Devil's Chair"...My old band in Charleston used to rehearse in this vacant department store building that was apparently a speakeasy in the '20s, and the scene of a massive shootout/murder...all KINDS of weird shit used to happen in that building...disembodied voices, growls, the sounds of glass breaking.....WEIRD.

About 10 min out of gauley bridge where the battle of gauley bridge happened . they said that 250 union solders killed over 3000 rebs in there sleep . There are graves all over this place in the woods . There was a hotel that was like 150 years old that was full of rebs they were using it as a hospital and the union army cam in in the middle of the night and hung the all , the sick and the dieing . If your a spook hunter and know about orbs this place looks like your blowing bubbles around here . red and white orbs . Ill try to post some picks that will show you what i see k .
