2. Foxy & Free
3. Sister
4. Too Many Faces

9. Change The World
10. Pain In the Neck
11. Genghis Khan
12. Fractured Quantum
There's a video on youtube of Ace laying down a solo for 'Pain In The Neck'... the song sounds pretty good... the thing is that writing a good song was never much of a problem for Ace... it was his lyrics... some of them are downright embarrassing.
I like the 'Fox On The Run' idea... might just suit Ace's voice pretty well.
Fox on the Run is a cool tune, I think that will be a killer tune for him to do. I'm interested too in Fractured Quantum. I read he was going back to his origianal '78 solo album to see what made it click, obviously this is in the vein of Fractured Mirror. I've heard Sister for years as a demo, not a big fan of it. Can't wait for it to come out!
KISS is also playing a couple nights at Casino Rama, where a bunch of us met up for the DLR show a few years back.
Bayfest's rock weekend lineup is Counting Crows on Thursday, KISS on Friday, and Stone Temple Pilots on Saturday. i'm pretty sure i will not be attending Thursday night, i hate that fat dreadlocked piece of shit Durwitz.
KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley has told Brazil's O Dia Online that the band's new LP will be released in September. He also described it as "a classic KISS album" and a throwback to the "Destroyer" and "Love Gun" songwriting style bit with modern production.
KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons recently confirmed the group's first album since 1998's "Psycho Circus" is being produced by Stanley. "I don't have enough time to tie my shoelaces and there's nobody else I trust more than Paul," Simmons told RollingStone.com.
Regarding the sound of the new material, Simmons said, "There's nothing to prove to anybody. We're not interested in musical trends or anything else. We're too long in the tooth for that. So it's going to be sort of a classic '70s rock and roll vibe. Meat and potatoes. You know, sometimes you just want to go out and have a meat and potatoes thing [and] forget the French dressing."
According to Amazon.com, Universal will release a new KISS live album called "Authorized Bootleg - Nashville Municipal Auditorium 1998" on May 26. No further details are currently available.

I wonder how good that`ll be.
They played okay in 1996 for the first reunion tour but I thought they went downhill fast, particularly Peter.
I`ve already got the millenium concert "Alive IV" (which pales in comparison to "Alive!"/"Alive II"), so I`m not very excited.
Alive IV had a lot of potential, but did fall flat. Expecially the debocle of the two bonus tracks a Best Buy exclusive. they failed to put on the cd and had to give away a separate disk. not very convenient.
There's only been a couple of albums since (hell, since even as far back as Love Gun if I really think about it) Dynasty that have really done much of anything for me. Those would be Creatures of the Night and Revenge.
I mean, I suppose it is good for diehard fans of the band that KISS dujour are gonna put out something new, but my expectations for it being on any kind of level like Hotter Than Hell, Destroyer or Rock And Roll Over are virtually nil.
