So.. I'm down at the Ritz on Fort Lauderdale beach. Rush played here last night and are staying at the Ritz. Fast forward to now.. Me and some buddies at the pool bar - we spot Geddy Lee. Whatever, I'm not a fan.. Anyway, we spot a couple of chicks heading towards him and figure they're fans/groupies.. Then, this happens:

I remember Neil Peart saying what a relief it is when he goes into a diner somewhere in the middle of nowhere and he can have normal conversations with people who don't recognize him.

They can go to dinner anywhere and not be recognized. I only knew because a friend rode the elevator with him the day before this.
This all reminds me of a rant that Artie Lange had on Howard Stern a long time ago about AC/DC having to explain to young girls who they are and why they are famous...
