I think the Stasi legacy is one of the reasons why Merkel was so particularly offended, and I agree with her. The NSA should be cut down and the FBI and CIA should be segmented and a new counterterrorist/counterintelligence agency should be created in America focusing on human intelligence and actual evidence of wrongdoing rather than casting a huge net...Comment
