Never liked Sympathy for the Devil, bored me. Same thing over and over and over. Stairway has various different sections and moods.

I`m not the a fan of the Stones at all.
I think they`re the most over-rated band ever.
SFTD is one of their worst.

Shit, I think this is the first post of yours I have read and disagreed on. For their time, the Beatles were great. Bands still rip them off to this day. As a guitarist I find a lot of their music boring, but the melodies and arrangements they crafted were masterful ! Good, but not great.
I'm not saying they they were bad. They were a good band, great for their time, and obviously influential.
But the truth is, rock and roll didn't begin with them.
I own tons of Beatles albums, and I feel their later music was their best.
The "I Hold Your Hand" stuff isn't my cup of tea.
I say they are overrated because of the credit they always get. Granted, they deserve quite a bit of credit, but not as much as they get from an uneducated public.

Kind of on a Stones kick right now, so I'll go with Sympathy. Stairway is an epic, but I dig the lyrics to Sympathy better.
