I agree that 40 Below is a top one, but I would have to say that my top three are Yankee Rose, Just a Gigolo and Knucklebones.

Tres Fave Dave Solo Songs (just looking at 2 latest cds, because most everyone agrees what the best songs on his earlier solo albums were)... anyway, here goes:

Wa Wa Zat (really hits his groove on this)
You Got the Blues, Not Me (for lyrics mostly)
Slam Dunk/Little Texas (sound like they could have been on '1984')

'Tight' as bonus track because it is a good 'driving fast' song
"Money can't buy poverty." -Marty Feldman

Yankee Rose (Never forget the first time I heard it)
Perfect Timing (The opening chords, however simple, are just so heavy)
Ladies' Night in Buffalo (Brings me back to the summer of '86)

    Very tough to choose three.

Don't piss me off. Anyone else dig it? Its really catchy, IMO and his voice is kinda bluesy and hot.

Yankee Rose - lyrics are the best! music rocks, voice is incredible

Sensible Shoes - all around great song, too
