I've ever heard Dave claim to be good at singing.

It's his voice and the way he sings the songs. I can't think of 1 singer that could mimic his voice and do a good job of it.

He was made for the job, a perfect voice.

I took a tour of the Waterford crystal factory in Ireland some many summers ago. Don't worry..... A point is coming. So, at the factory they talk about the imperfections of the each crystal and that is what makes it so unique and valuable. Each piece is hand blown. And each being hand blown there is no way for apiece to have zero blemishes They told us the crystal with no blemishes is machine made and nowhere near as valuable.

Think of Dave as Waterford. Highly valuable with imperfections that make him so unique!

dopie - I think Dave sounds better now than he has - well, since the last tour. And much better that years before the previous tour. I'm not sure I get your criticism of Dave's voice considering most rock acts aren't anywhere near as good as he sounds. I personally think they sound fucking great...

God damn Al's drums are killing. I'm never much to notice drums but his playing is killing on the Cafe Wha? videos I've seen. The Wolf isn't too shabby on bass either (monster attack on those strings). Of course EVH makes it all look too fucking easy ... I've been staring at my guitars over the last few days wondering how I could ever get half as good as Ed.
