I know digital is a bit of a letdown for distorted guitar but I always thought J got some decent chunky tones regardless.

Thanks! And I'd be the first to admit the tracks I was posting when I first started learning PT a couple of years ago weren't all that - but I had no idea what I was doing. DAWs are pretty involved, more so than a lot of people think. Mixing is an art form unto itself, and you have to STUDY what other people are doing to figure out how to make things sound decent. I'm always checking out tutorial videos and educational materials and still I feel like I'm only starting to get my bearings on that end of it.

Don't think E at all realizes the humongous learning curve he's got ahead of him - he posts like he thinks he's going to throw a mic on his cab and amaze us all on the first try... even if he doesn't use emulations, he'll soon understand it's not that simple.



But can't wait to hear it....
