Furthermore, nothing in the video you posted above had anything to do with "taking away" guns. It was about closing the loopholes in the existing gun laws which allow criminals and psychopaths to buy guns from opportunistic fuckwads who don't give a shit who they sell to, at gun shows, garage sales or what ever.
Bottom line is that you should have to pass a background check to own a gun. No exceptions. If you're a criminal, you don't get a gun. If you're a psycho, you don't get a gun. And it's not about convictions either. If you have an arrest record as long as George Zimmerman's was, or as long as this fucked up kid in Parkland was, then you don't get a fucking gun, regardless of whether somebody bought your way out of a conviction or not.
