"If the American people had ever known the truth about what we (the BCE) have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched." - Poppy Bush, 1992
Diet has already been changed - dropped 10lbs in two weeks, and my waist was only 34'' when I started. Protein seems to be key.
The mistake I've been making is focussing on number of reps rather than weight, and not being intense enough in targetting one muscle group per workout. Six pack is coming along nicely
You should target maybe two muscle groups per workout, and remember that resting is part of working out as well...
Binnie. Stay with three sets of ten reps. Experiment with the weight load to by the time you finish the last rep of the third set you are really fighting to finish it in good form. Eat lots of protein and that's the foundation of building bulk. Give your muscles a days rest. I like to do weights one day and cardiovascular the next and rotate that way. Swimming is good. The water has a therapeutic effect and helps massage your muscles. Once you get the lactic acid worked out, you won't be so sore and you are on your way.
Binnie, why lift iron while there are LOADS of useful muscle building activities?
