I think it's a bad idea. And if they appear on Kimmel with anyone other than the Three Twins and Dave, the Ellen show will be a non-issue for us.

I wouldn't be surprised if they played the same song(s) on each show.

If they come out with a strong/safe one like Ain't Talkin Bout Love and Dave picks up where he left off with the Foo I think it will be alright. IF the Kimmel thing happens I'm hoping they get a nice block of time and rip through I'm the One into Unchained.. I'd approve that.

Dave has shown over two tours now that he can't, or won't, sing DTNA as it should be sung.
In fact he can't, or won't, sing it without destroying it to the point that I felt embarrassed
witnessing it.

a venue to promote this crap.

As disappointed as I am that we're not getting any new music, I just can't knock them trying something different. At this point, any TV appearance is something new. Fuck, it's about time they take a whack at something like this. I have a gut feeling this appearance could be a decent move on their part. Show the lip syncing, overly processed, Maroon 5 horse shit eating world of no talent twats what a real band sounds like.

Maybe the best course of action for a TV appearance like this would be to do "She's The Woman". It's (or at least should have been) a "three minute single" without being a shitty wuss cheese synthesizer crap song, and Dave can sing it without embarrassing himself.

Of course Dave would have to watch his "ad libs" in front of the TV cameras, but I'm sure they have the 7 second delay
