A few observations from Atlanta, GA regarding the Van Halen 2015 tour:
1) There is no Georgia date
2) There is a gap in the tour - no dates scheduled for September 19 or 20
3) September 17, Van Halen will be in Alabama (which means they will be in the South East).
4) Music Midtown is scheduled to be September 19 and 20
5) Is it reasonable to deduce that Van Halen will be at Music Midtown?

Honestly, too small of a venue. Then again, VH is not as big as they use to be so if they do sell the place out I'd be surprised.

The sound there is what's awesome - worth the ridiculous parking fee(s) alone.

I'd be pretty surprised if Van Halen didn't sellout a 9,450 seat ampitheater, especially one with the acoustics that you mention....

I would love to see them shoot a concert DVD there although just about everyone else has done that taking away the novelty of it. I would go to see them play live if they do play at Red Rocks (if these show venues are confirmed) just for the sound alone. But you're right, everyone should see at least one show there in their lifetime - no matter how insanely expensive it has become.
