Rumor has it that F A T Bob is about to go on the road again to promote his unlistenable bullshit. Deemed The Lost World Tour F A T Bob is back with his brand of ear splitting melodic "Jesus fuck, I am old" and utterly boring fuck you and fuck goth although being goth makes me a fuck ton of money among Starsucks-drinking hipsters who suck each other off for their vinyl record collecting snobbery. Now, I myself am going to see Depeche Mode in November and I know they are old and boring and lately Martin Gore looks like Trumps dried up ball sack but god damn, what in the fuck is this?

Hang it up, F A T Bob. You don't need the money. Or maybe you do. I do not give a fuck.

At least F A T Bob's heart is in the right place. From their website:

"We want the tour to be affordable for all fans, and we have a very wide (and we think very fair) range of pricing at every show," they write. "Our ticketing partners have agreed to help us stop scalpers from getting in the way; to help minimize resale and keep prices at face value, tickets for this tour will not be transferable. If something comes up that prevents a fan from being able to use a ticket they have purchased, they will be able resell it on a face value ticket exchange.

"Unfortunately, despite our desire to protect our low ticket prices for fans, the states of NY, IL and CO make this very difficult," the statement continues. "They actually have laws in place that protect scalpers! For shows in these states we urge fans to buy or sell tickets to one another on face value exchanges like twickets.live and cashortrade.org. Fans should avoid buying tickets that are being resold at inflated prices by scalpers, and the sites that host these scalpers should refrain from reselling tickets for our shows."

Well, okay, good for them. But....they (like everyone else) are going through TicketMaster who are by far the biggest god damn scalpers on the planet. This is just window dressing to make TicketMaster look good after that major Taylor Swift fuck up. I would like to see F A T Bob one last time - you know, before he has a stroke and there are currently no scheduled Denvoid tour date(s).

The Cavs arena is not a Ticketmaster venue, they use Seat Geek. The DM tickets weren't too pricey and with the Rock Hall member presale I had tickets a few days before the general sale.

Local writer says a Gabriel show is rumored to be added later. We'll see. If it's after September it won't be at Blossom, it'll be downtown.

Yeah, Seat Geek is not a TM subsidiary. Whole different app and everything.

The Cavs were using Flash Seats and then AXS killed it.

Most likely because Flash Seats can be easily hacked. Knowing how big Depeche Mode is and the amount of fans they attract you'd think they would strike a deal with TicketMaster (at least on North American shows) to dictate where they can play and how much they get their cut.

Good news. F A T Bob seems to be waging his personal battle with Ticketmasturbator and their bullshit fees.

The band purposefully kept ticket costs affordable, with some as low as $20 (£16). But fans shared screenshots of Ticketmasturbator shopping baskets with varying fees across different venues: one image showed combined fees that exceeded the cost of a $20 ticket – each subject to a service fee of $11.65 and a facility charge of $10, plus an overall order processing fee of $5.50.

The fees were levied by the ticket sales behemoth as part of its Verified Fan programme, which allows fans to register for an advance sale that is said to prevent tickets getting into the hands of touts or bots.

“To be very clear: the artist has no way to limit them,” Smith wrote in a trademark caps lock tweet. “I have been asking how they are justified. If I get anything coherent by way of an answer I will let you all know.”
