I know, it sounds counter-intuitive as all hell, but here is the deal: At work, my ref. computers are not running NO Script or Ad Block Plus, just a series of site avoiding crap. So by cleaning out the cache, you remove all of the cluttered-up pre-fetch data your computer uses to speed up browsing. As a result, it tends to no longer hang on to old links, images and information, including hacks. I also have a registry cleaner I can access in safe mode, and this removes most of the invasive crap that allows the hack to continue showing up. I tried it this afternoon, and have had no issues since.
Hell, it's worth a shot.

I simply remove all my clothes...run out into my backyard...and howl at the moon...
This usually fixes everything...
wait...what are we talking about?"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."Comment
