I know you are just being hypothetical, but Dave is, by most accounts, a pacifist and avoids physical confrontations.

Not that I doubt he could kick Ed's ass, but I think Dave would probably follow the idea that "violence is the last resort of a limited mind", and as we know, Dave's brain is NOT limited!

I also think that if you tried to pick a fight with him, he would either humiliate you verbally without throwing a punch, or he would talk you down and make you see the error of your ways!

I have been arrested for assault for this very reason.
You don't humiliate me verbally, driving me to my boiling point and then play "Pussy". The floor will make a fiber filled meal for the face as i stomp on it.

Talking the talk without walking the walk don't work with me at all.

I bet that if i socked Dave in the head he'd beat the living shit out of me. I'd like to thank that i could hold my own since i have some martial arts training myself, but i didn't live the shit like he does, so i think it would be a bad mistake on my part, lol.
